What this is

Official teams. Real rosters. Long arc.

Pro-Am is the rostered side of competitive Bless. Every team is registered, has a coach (or its president IS the coach), four starters, and four back-ups. The back-up requirement isn't a suggestion — it's how we keep brackets balanced.

We keep every team that's ever been created. If no one wants to wear the colors anymore, the team is sundowned into the history books. It can always be revived. That's the contract: teams are legacies.

Above the teams sits a Prime Minister, a Field Marshal who owns the series, and Mayors who run the moving parts — scheduling, streaming, conflict, refereeing. Below them, Warrant Officers actually host the work.

Team Structure

What a Pro-Am team looks like.

01
Org / Team President

Runs an entire team and its mechanisms. President of their team.

02
Coach (required)

Or the president can be the coach. Must assure the team won't impede the community's 8s. When a coach can't fill a roster, our Warrant Officers fill it — and the coach gets a mark.

03
Active 8s Roster (4 players)

A starting four. Every player requires a back-up.

04
Back-Up Roster (4 players)

Required. We maintain an equal number so tournament brackets aren't lopsided.

The Coach Mark · Contract
When a coach can't assure a full team, our Warrant Officers will try to fill it out, but the coach gets a mark. Eventually the refs will discuss if that coach is allowed to continue coaching. Of course the president can fire/hire whoever he wants, but we hold the right to say if a coach is harmful to our community. We will keep every team that is ever created and fill the rosters. If no one wants to be apart of the team, we'll sundown it into the history books — but it can always be revived. Teams are legacies.
The Warrant Officer Doctrine

The most trusted position in Bless.

Warrant Officers are the entire layer between leadership and the public domain. They aren't volunteers — they're authorized mentors. Every path to Bless leadership runs through a Warrant Officer.

Corrector

Leadership leads. Warrant Officers correct. They hold the standard inside every lobby, every drill, every VOD.

Mentor

Fixated on a single craft — movement, lore, comms, stealth, refereeing — and there are as many Warrant Officers per craft as the community needs.

Gateway

If anything happens to a Mayor, the Warrant Officers are who the room turns to. Acquiring this seat is how you prove you're angled toward leadership.

Warrant Officer · Authorized Mentors

The trust layer.

The entire seam between leadership and public domain. Multiple Warrant Officers can hold the same specialty — example, five Stealth Voidstalker Trainer Warrant Officers, all actively coaching. While leadership leads, Warrant Officers correct.

— Memorized, to Charles · 2020

The Pro-Amateur Series did not begin with Bless. It began in 2020, when IMemorizeItI drew the first bracket and called the first roster together. He built it for one reason — the one he repeated more than any other — to bring people together.

He shared command of it with Bless' founder, Charles, knowing what time eventually asks of all of us. He didn't ask for monuments. He asked for one thing: that the legacy stay intact. The Series. The 8s. The roster. The people.

It took six years. Bless is the keeping of that promise. Every seat on the chain, every team in the bracket, every Spartan who loads in on a Saturday night — they're standing on the groundwork he laid in 2020. The ambition is his. The blueprint is his. We are the hands.

The legacy lives. The Series stands. The Spartan is remembered.
