Every other night in Bless has a job — mentorship pairs, scrim calls, council notes. Friday's job is no job. It's the night the armor comes off and the youngest player at the table picks the gametype. A mentor loses to a 14-year-old at Hide & Seek and laughs. A competitive captain plays HORSE with one mag of pistol ammo. That's the point.
Friday is the common-ground night that keeps the rest of the week from feeling like a job. Skip it once a quarter and you start treating teammates like roles instead of people.
